World Humanitarian Day is a chance for us to prioritize our humanitarian efforts and find ourselves by contributing to the communities’ growth.
This year, we celebrated WHD in 2 of our markets, UAE & Egypt, and we are extremely proud to have seen so many enthusiastic and joyous faces.
In partnership with the International Charity Organization, the UAE team packed 150 food parcels for vulnerable families in Dubai. Each parcel consisted of 18 Cans and 6 Impulse items. The partnership goes a long way, as we will be donating our Grocery & Impulse products for a period of 5 months.
Our Egypt team visited the Rehabilitation Center of Children with Special Needs in Sadat City, affiliated with the Ministry of Social Solidarity. They enjoyed some quality time with the children, watched animation movies and shared with them stories about sports champions with disabilities to encourage them to exercise and overcome their fears.
The visit ended on a sweet note; the team distributed some of our Snacks products to the kids to brighten their mood!
It was amazing to see some of the employees’ children engage on the day, and we are confident it was a great opportunity for them to define their own sense of doing good and giving back!
