Food Security is a basic human right. We must work together to ensure that everyone has access to the nourishment they need.
This World Food Day, our teams in the UAE, Kuwait, and Egypt organized volunteering activities aimed at combating hunger and promoting food security, bringing together employees to pack essential food parcels for those in need and raise awareness about the importance of sustainable food practices in our communities.
In partnership with the International Charity Organization – UAE, our team in UAE packed 150 food parcels, and this time our blue-collar workers at Gulf Food Industries: California Garden embraced the chance to participate in this activity, transforming their skills into powerful contributions that uplifted the community and strengthened their bonds.
In Kuwait, we partnered with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society and donated 200 food parcels to the vulnerable community in the country. This experience was enriched by the enthusiastic participation of the children who found deep meaning in contributing to this vital community initiative!
Our team in Egypt donated 100,000 Biscuit packs to the Egyptian Food Bank which were added to the monthly food parcels distributed to the vulnerable families across the country.
These activities remind us that food security is not just a goal but a shared responsibility. Through collaboration, community engagement, and a commitment to sustainability, we can drive real change and contribute to a future where no one has to go hungry. Let’s continue working together to make a lasting impact, supporting those who need it the most and building a world where everyone has access to the nourishment they deserve.
